Aiming to strengthen our Oil & Gas Department for an important project based in Lombardia, Italy, we are recruiting a
PROJECT ENGINEER – OIL & GAS
Job location: North East Milan area
Role Overview:
The selected resource - after an intense onboarding process aimed at developing appropriate know-how about Customer products and working methodologies - will be involved in project activities, with increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility.
In particular, he/she will be responsible for the engineering outputs of the assigned projects in terms of deliverables, quality and compliance with contract scope.
Tasks:
- Translate Customer project specifications and internal best practices into project technical documentation issued for project execution;
- Develop project designs using CAD and calculation codes;
- Execute equipment performance calculations and prepare data sheet for equipment vessels, separators, heat exchangers, electrical motors, pumps, etc;
- Prepare project P&ID;
- Prepare and issue Contractual Technical documentation for Customers as well as for Procurement purposes;
- Provide support during manufacturing phase.
Specialized Knowledge / Skills:
- BSc / MSc Mechanical or Chemical Engineering;
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role within O&G / Chemical industries;
- Good knowledge of O&G plants and related equipment (reciprocating compressors, centrifugal pumps, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, electrical motors, separators, etc) and operability;
- Experienced in detailed design engineering;
- Knowledge of applicable codes (API, ASME, PED, AISC, IBC);
- Working knowledge of CAD systems (any working experience with SolidWorks would be advantageous);
- Good command of English language (i. e. B2);
- Commitment, precision, flexibility, reliability;
- Excellent documentation and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, team-work attitude;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines
